I was brought up in Craigneuk, Wishaw, Lanarkshire. I have always had an interest in photography from an early age and bought my first DSLR back in 2007 (Nikon D40). I have always had a passion for wildlife from the age of 8 and seemed only natural for me to take these moments with a camera.
I am currently a member of Livingston Camera Club and the Society of Photographers.
I'm currently using the Nikon D850 with the 500mm f/5.6 PF VR ED lens.
I have done some night photography of the Forth Road and Rail Bridges, special events such as the Edinburgh Fringe.
